Plenty of parking. The ice cream was wonderful but the space in the cafe was very small and there was no viewing area for the ice cream making or milking the cows from the cafe, but you could wander around and look at animals. There is a small play area and separate place for the children to ride go-carts. There is a small indoor play area.
The children can run them selves silly here. Lots to climb. The ice cream is nice, but the hot drinks are from a machine and as such not very hot and only one size.

A stunning country house steeped in history. The gardens and woodland walk by the river is picturesque. Well worth a visit and considering for a unique holiday.
This is not a review of the guest house, but of the four acres of Victorian gardens set around Morland Beck. They are magnificent. Bridges, waterfalls, stepping stones. Paths to explore. Open 10:00 am till 5:00 p.m (unless something else is going on) .

Really lovely little campsite, with great hosts. There isn't a shower, so more set up to vans than tents but we still enjoyed our stay. A lot of care has gone into the simple facilities, and there are local OS maps and things to give you an idea of the local area. £7 for a 2 man tent - would certainly pay a little more for a shower ;)
Perfect hideaway site with simple facilities but ideal for motorhomes and caravans and a perfect stopover near the M6 near Penrith. Very welcoming owners and loads of local information.
