Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Cliburn

Bella Italia

The Plaza, Center Parcs Whinfell Forest, Whinfell Forest, Penrith CA10 2DW, UK – 01768 893000

We have been here a few times and always find the staff to be friendly and the food is always excellent.

We called in for tea at short notice. It was busy but they found us a table. We were served promptly. The food was hot, pleasant and the order was correct. We were in and out within the hour. Quite large portions which I found a bit over facing but it was a nice meal. More expensive than usual Bella's but it is at Center Parcs.

Café Rouge

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest, Whinfell Forest, Penrith CA10 2DW, UK – 01768 893309

The staff at cafe rouge whinfell went above and beyond to make our son and daughter in laws anniversary meal special. We received the best customer service of the week here. The staff are so pleasant and helpful and the food was great. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a great experience from the Wilson's.

The five stars are for Martin, who remembered us visiting Center Parcs in Penrith 2 years ago! Great service from him and great food.

Rajinda Pradesh

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest, Whinfell Forest, Cumbria CA10 2DW, UK – 01768 893000

Food excellent and service was spot on! Couldn't fault anything! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very (very) pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, service (Dominika was great) and overall quality of food served here. The chef even made an appearance to greet customers! Having been at Centre Parcs in Penrith many times we mostly took our own food as we didn’t enjoy the somewhat mediocre offerings at the local outlets, but this year we decided to eat out for the 3 nights. Last night at the Lakeside lodge justified why we always brought our own food, passable (but who microwaves ‘Garlic Bread!!), not to mention serve up frozen fish in breadcrumbs instead of having it freshly prepared, but back to the Indian, it was indeed very good!
